Who are we?

Social Green is a socio-economic organization offering a vital recycling solution to organizations and businesses while integrating people with disabilities and special needs into the labor market.

Our organization employs individuals with disabilities and special needs who are at the forefront of our operation, providing recycling services to businesses nationwide.

We furnish a comprehensive solution, from the supply of bins, signage, assimilation and training, collection of miscellaneous discarded items to various recycling plants, and up to accurate weight reports arranged by the multiple types of waste materials collected from our customers.

Social Green founded in 2018, Socially Green wished to address the need for innovative entrepreneurship that links social, economic, and environmental values. We strive to unite economic, social and eco-friendly values through equal employment and full integration of people with disabilities.

At Socially Green, we advocate the 3 Wins model (win-win-win):

What recyclable waste we collect?

We collect all waste for recycling, including:

Paper and packaging materials
Cardboard
Batteries and electronic waste
Orange bin recyclable waste – domestic and commercial
Glass packaging
Clothing & Textiles
Depositable beverage containers
Depositable beverage containers

How does it work?

We provide customized recycling services following different requirements and recycling types for a fixed monthly fee, calculated by building/office/business size and collection frequency.

All collected waste is concentrated on the ground floor of each business in a designated bin placed on the premises upon the collaboration and consent of the management.

We empty these bins and transfer the recyclable items to various recycling bodies, all recognized and authorized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Our service liberates our clients from the hassle of complex logistics vs. numerous service providers. All one needs to do is contact us. We will take care of everything else.

Our Employees

Collecting recyclable waste is carried out by the dedicated employees of Socially Green.

More than 80% of our employees are people with disabilities and special needs who provide recycling services to thousands of customers across Israel.

Our employees are recognized by the National Insurance Institute and are entitled to a disability annuity.

They provide recycling services and have become an integral part of the daily routine of over 1500 customers nationwide.

The workplace has been fully adapted and made accessible to our employees’ needs, and they relish an enjoyable, respectful, high-quality, and warm work environment, fair employment conditions identical to international standards, including monthly wages and full social benefits, attention and personal accompaniment from a multidisciplinary team.

Our Team

Amir Kobi

CEO and Founder

Amir is married and the father of four. Has over twenty years of experience working with people with various disabilities, including working as an educational and occupational guide at the Be’er Sheva Psychiatric Hospital and training trauma victims of the Ministry of Defense (IDF disabled).

As part of her work, Sophie is responsible for liaising with field employees and the recyclable waste collection team, responding to new and seasoned customers and supporting all service processes.
